The Role

Overview:

• As a Telecom Product Catalogue/Product Modelling Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing our product modelling and cataloguing solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of our product offerings, contributing to our mission of delivering world-class telecommunications services.
• Should have extensively work in product modelling, product catalogue and proposed various solutions
• Should be able set the governance process for product modelling review
• Should have worked in comparing the existing business process with best-in-class process followed in the industry, do gap analysis, propose improvements
• Should have hands-on in creating UML diagrams, E2E flow diagrams
• Should have hands-on in preparing the Requirements, Design documents, write/review/execute test cases

Interpersonal:

• Should be able to independently run meetings, articulate/present a requirement, proposed solution to the stakeholders (UK clients, Product line, Operations, Tester, Developer etc).
• Should be able to handle the queries from the stakeholders
• Domain: Should have good understanding of the Telco domain.
• Should have in-depth knowledge in Service Fulfilment journey (both Processes and Systems - Specifically knowledge Product Catalogue, CRM, Order Orchestration, Service Inventory, Billing and Payments, Provisioning and Activation)
• Solution Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain robust product modelling and cataloguing solutions aligned with industry best practices and business objectives.
• Product Modelling: Create and maintain a comprehensive product model that accurately represents our telecommunications services, including pricing, features, and dependencies.
• Catalog Management: Lead efforts to develop and manage the telecom product catalogue, ensuring it is up-to-date, easily accessible, and serves as a single source of truth for all product-related information.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Technology Evaluation: Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends related to product modelling and cataloguing, and recommend the adoption of relevant solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure data accuracy and consistency within the product catalogue.
• Documentation: Create detailed architecture documentation, process flows, and technical specifications for product modelling and cataloguing solutions.
• Project Management: Should adhere to the project timelines. Should be able to meet the milestones related to product catalog and modelling initiatives, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.

• Architect and optimize the CMDB to accurately reflect the infrastructure components, telecom assets and their relationships.
• Define data governance standards and enforce data consistency across CMDB
• Data model P/S/R catalogs in the existing catalogs, SOM, COM systems
• Design and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models
• Ensure scalability and adaptability of data models for future organizational needs
• Design, document data model for CMDB, P/S/R catalog (Product, Service and Resource management layer)
• Design, document and build the interface specification for data integration

Ideal Profile

• Should have the ability to conduct discovery interviews to understand the existing Product rollout process
• Should be able to define E2E step-by-step for P/S/R data modelling
• Should be able to define product model review governance process and tools
• Should be able to design organizational structure for effective product modelling
• Should be able to standardize Product Model process
• Should be able to present product modelling case studies
• Should have the ability to develop a business case for the proposed organizational structure.
• Should be able to do continuous improvement of best practices and guidebook for Product Catalogue and Product modelling
• Should have the ability to map the CFS with RFS.
• Good knowledge in mapping the product data with service data with resource data
• Good knowledge on TM Forum open APIs related to product modelling
