We’re looking for a dynamic, experienced leader to manage the day-to-day operations of Medical Affairs and Academic Affairs at KHSC. Reporting to the VP and Chief of Staff for Medical & Academic Affairs, you’ll be a strategic driver, building key partnerships, overseeing credentialing, medical education, and supporting physician remuneration and performance.

You’ll help ensure quality care by supporting our credentialed professional staff and enhancing the experience of medical learners and interprofessional students across KHSC. You’ll collaborate with Queen’s University, manage hospital affiliations, contribute to healthcare policy, and lead process improvement initiatives.
What you'll do:
Oversee physician credentialing, onboarding, performance and remuneration
Collaborate with Queen’s PGME and UGME to support medical learners
Shape and implement policies and procedures related to medical governance
Support professional staff recruitment and engagement
Monitor and manage MOHLTC medical education reporting
Contribute to accreditation readiness and academic planning
What you bring:
5–7 years of relevant leadership experience in healthcare or medical education
A degree in Business Administration or related field
Expertise in credentialing, hospital bylaws, academic affiliations, and legislation (e.g., PHIPA, ECFAA)
Exceptional organizational, communication and relationship-building skills
Experience supervising teams and managing change in a complex environment
