Job Title: Solar Installer
Job Description

We are seeking skilled solar installers to join our team for a rooftop installation project. The role involves working on panel installation, managing wires, and completing final connections.

Responsibilities

• Perform rooftop solar panel installations efficiently and safely.
• Manage wire systems and ensure proper connections.
• Utilize hand and power tools for installation tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints to execute project plans.
• Troubleshoot and solve issues related to solar installations.
• Ensure high attention to detail and adhere to safety protocols.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the mechanical side of solar installations.
• Proficiency in solar, electrical, and construction techniques.
• Ability to bend conduits and work with combiner boxes.
• Experience in construction labor, as an Apprentice, Journeyman, or Electrical Helper.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Rooftop installation experience is expected.
• Any additional solar experience is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Capability to work overtime when required.

Work Environment

Work on commercial manufacturing rooftops, engaging in a 40-hour work week from Monday to Friday, with shifts from 7 AM to 5:30 PM. Expect to work in all weather conditions, wearing PPE and appropriate work clothing on site. Enjoy a supportive team environment with opportunities for growth and development.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Aberdeen, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
