Job Title : Site Safety Lead

Location : Marion, IN

Duration : 3 month contract

Rate : $50 - $55/hr

Per Diem: $125/day

Position: Site Safety Lead

We are seeking an experienced Safety Specialist for an electrical transmission line and substation project in Marion, IN.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and enforce comprehensive safety plans specific to electrical transmission and substation construction projects.
• Monitor work sites to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and other relevant safety standards.
• Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks to communicate best practices and expectations.
• Prepare detailed safety reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with site management and project teams to promote a culture of safety.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a safety leadership role within electrical construction, specifically transmission and substation projects. A minimum of 3 years of experience is required.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E standards, and other industry best practices.
• Experience conducting site inspections, audits, and accident investigations.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 500, CUSP, CSP, CHST) are strongly preferred.
