As part of our dynamic team of 400+ employees, you’ll play a key role in keeping our supply chain running smoothly and safely. We’re currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to join our Brampton-based team at Sierra Custom Foods Ltd., one of our flagship facilities.

About the Role

As a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, you'll support day-to-day dock and logistics operations, focusing on the timely, accurate, and safe movement of goods in and out of the facility. You’ll be hands-on—on the floor, in the action—working alongside team members to maintain the flow of product and ensure operational excellence.

You will assist in organizing the team, coordinating with departments, and keeping inventory and shipping documentation in check. Think of this role as the backbone of a high-performing logistics operation, with clear potential to grow your career within the Amir Group.

What You will Do

• Assist in the daily start-up and coordination of the shipping & receiving team.
• Supervise dock activities and incoming/outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Work closely with the Senior Supervisor to maintain shipping schedules and prioritize tasks.
• Review shipping documents like packing slips and bills of lading for completeness and accuracy.
• Help schedule dock appointments in collaboration with the Logistics Coordinator.
• Ensure safety procedures and cleanliness are maintained in all shipping and receiving areas.
• Inspect material handling equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Promote teamwork and maintain strong communication across departments (Production, Quality, Maintenance, etc.).
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and safe work practices.
• Jump in wherever needed—this is a hands-on, team-first environment!

What You Bring to the Table

• 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Solid understanding of shipping/receiving processes and inventory flow.
• Comfortable using systems for data entry and inventory tracking (experience with ERP is a plus!).
• Physically fit and able to be on your feet throughout your shift.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• A safety-first mindset and familiarity with basic workplace safety protocols.
• Eagerness to learn and grow into a more senior leadership role.
