Senior Litigation Law Clerk

Our Toronto office is located in a 1925 brick-and-beam building in the Entertainment District — a creative, collaborative space just steps from the downtown core. We are currently looking to add a Senior Litigation Law Clerk to our team.

About the Role

This is not an entry-level position. We are seeking a highly experienced litigation law clerk who can hit the ground running and manage files from start to finish. You will work closely with senior counsel and have meaningful input into cases involving:

• Business & Commercial Litigation
• Estates Litigation
• Construction Disputes

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of their files, mentor junior team members, and grow with a firm that values independence, initiative, and ingenuity.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a litigation clerk at a private law firm.
• Solid working knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and the practices of the GTHA courts.
• Experience drafting, managing, and organizing litigation materials (e.g., pleadings, motion records, affidavits).
• Strong file management and e-filing skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, professionalism, and written communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document formatting.
• Must live in Ontario and be able to work in person at our Toronto office.
• Must provide excellent work references from past legal employers.
• Law Clerk diploma or certificate from a Canadian institution.
