Prime Hires is supporting one of our clients in hiring a Medical Service Technician within the medical devices/healthcare industry

About the Role:

A leading medical device company is seeking a Medical Equipment Service Technician to join their Technical Service Department. This role will provide hands-on training on specialized medical equipment, with the opportunity to support both in-house operations and occasional on-site field service visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the assembly, troubleshooting, and servicing of medical devices.
  • Perform in-office repairs and occasional local field service visits (some irregular hours may apply).
  • Complete technical documentation and maintain accurate service records.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and maintain professional communication with healthcare professionals.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and products.

Qualifications:

  • CET certification or diploma in Electronics, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail in documentation and procedures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Reliable, organized, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with basic technical software tools.
  • Prior experience in medical equipment service or related technical roles is an asset.
  • Sales aptitude and the ability to work independently are considered beneficial.
