Duties and Responsibilities_______________________________________________________
• Network Administration: Design, administer and maintain our network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN connections. Develop robust network access controls and security measures, adhering to industry standards. Monitor and analyze network performance, employing strategies for continuous optimization.
• Server Management: Design, manage and monitor our server environment, including Windows and Linux servers. Ensure server uptime, perform regular maintenance, and troubleshoot server-related problems.
• Security: Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software. Stay updated on security threats and apply patches and updates as needed.
• Storage Management: Design, administer and optimize storage solutions, including SAN and NAS systems. Monitor storage capacity and performance, and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Virtualization: Design and manage virtualization environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) to ensure efficient resource allocation and optimal virtual machine performance.
• Hardware and Software: Design and recommend hardware and software upgrades to fuel performance and align with our companies’ goals. Stay current on all hardware and software updates.
• Capacity Planning: Monitor and analyze infrastructure performance, making recommendations for capacity upgrades or enhancements.
• System Monitoring: Implement and maintain system monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve issues. Respond to alerts and incidents promptly.
• Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity.

• Documentation: Create and update system documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• User Support: Lead IT Help Desk in swiftly troubleshooting and resolving network and telecom issues. Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist with IT-related inquiries. Provide expert technical support, addressing user queries and complex technical concepts.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support technology projects and initiatives. Participate in the planning and implementation of IT projects. Effective communication skills for explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences. Aptitude for problem-solving, analysis, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
• Compliance: Ensure IT infrastructure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Possesses the ability to design best practices in network architecture, security principles, and implementation.
• Proficient in server administration (Windows and Linux).
Education and Experience Requirements____________________________________________
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Information Technology or related field; or eight years related experience and/or training in IT infrastructure management and support; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, CCNP or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator. Required.
