About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment in hospital settings. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that critical diagnostic and therapeutic devices function safely and effectively, supporting frontline healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, calibrate, and service a range of medical equipment (e.g., imaging systems, patient monitors, infusion devices) on-site at hospitals
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize equipment downtime
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections in compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., CSA, Health Canada, ISO)
• Provide training and technical support to clinical and biomedical staff
• Maintain accurate service records and document all work in compliance with internal and external standards
• Communicate effectively with hospital staff, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate service visits and escalate complex issues
• Stay current on product updates, new technologies, and safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or related technical field
• 2+ years of experience servicing medical equipment in clinical or hospital environments
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and hospital safety standards
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced, high-stakes settings
• Valid driver’s license + car and willingness to travel within region
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Bilingual (English and French)
