The Role

• Oversee the preparation, analysis, and review of product costings, including direct and indirect costs
• Ensure accurate and timely cost reporting for manufacturing, inventory, and overhead costs
• Develop cost models and assist with budget planning and forecasting activities
• Perform margin analysis and cost variance analysis to monitor and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, production) to develop and implement cost control measures
• Manage the month-end and year-end costing processes and provide support for financial closing activities
• Support internal and external audits by preparing relevant documentation and responding to inquiries

Your Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis, preferably in manufacturing or production industries
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting methods, inventory management, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and financial analysis tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration
• Familiarity with cost control techniques and margin analysis
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards (e.g., JGAAP, USGAAP)
• CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
• Fluency in Japanese & English

• 7,000,000 yen - 12,000,000 yen
