Our client is currently seeking a mid-level Corporate Securities Associate to join their esteemed Corporate Securities practice group in Vancouver. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to enhance their legal and client-service skills by working on local, national, and international corporate finance transactions, public mergers and acquisitions, as well as various securities law matters.

Qualifications and Attributes:

• 2 to 5 years of post-call experience in corporate securities law, focusing on capital markets and M&A, gained from a national, regional, or reputable securities boutique law firm.
• Experience representing issuers, underwriters, and selling shareholders in domestic and cross-border public offerings and private placements of debt, equity, and structured finance products.
• Proficiency in public M&A transactions, including take-over bids, plans of arrangement, and corporate reorganizations.
• Familiarity with corporate governance requirements, stock exchange compliance, continuous disclosure obligations, and general regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and drafting skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Client-oriented mindset.
• Above-average academic transcripts.
• Qualified to practice law in Canada.
